X4.004 – LAZER.BELGIUM.SINDS.1919

Lazer have been looking after the skulls of Belgian hardmen since 1919. Now in 2014 they’re keeping an eye on little old me too…

I’ve been riding with the 280g Genesis CX for a while on the ‘cross bike. Alone with winter baffles and an aero cover it’s the perfect helmet for just about any occasion. Stripped down it’s ready for battle on a hot day with 19 vents, or for those rainy days the aero shell helps keep you warm and dry and when it gets really cold the baffles keep you tucked up in your own little world.

Whilst for Mountain Bike duties I rely upon the Oasiz. Again in floro yellow it helps mark me out at races, but it’s much more than that. 21 vents keep your head cool in any situation whilst the Roll-sys closure system makes the helmet stable and comfortable whatever the shape of your noggin. 285g is nice and lightweight and the go-pro mount makes making video easy if that’s your thing – it’s also good for attaching a light to for twenty-four hour duties.
